About Us – Longwoods Homes Association

Longwoods includes 57 large lots in the heavily wooded area of Memorial just west of Chimney Rock Road in the City of Houston. The development was originally platted in 1955 from land that was owned by the Bering family. The subdivision is served by Hunters Creek Elementary School, Spring Branch Middle School, and Memorial High School. The Longwoods Homes Association provides private back door garbage pick-up and a neighborhood security patrol. The 2024 annual dues were $3,360 per household.
